Mimi Shin brings a commanding sense of relaxed but informed style to her residential and commercial architecture projects. Responsive to the needs of the individual client, Mimi and her team provide each project with a unique set of solutions based on the client, the location and the given constraints. Each project is a true reflection of the client rather than the designer.
She began her career in fashion and became an editor at Voguemagazine within just a few years. She traveled extensively to Milan and Paris representing Vogue and then Harper’s Bazaar for a decade. Shifting gears to a parallel passion of architectural design, she headed west for her masters in architecture at UCLA. Upon graduation, she launched a furniture line critically reviewed by the New York Times, Sunset and ca magazines. Her combined focus in fashion and architecture are the perfect foundation for the design of interiors and architecture that are rooted in thoughtfulness and individual style.
With a distinctive ability to understanding her clients, Mimi brings her unique experience to hone in on a client’s personal style and translate and develop those traits that express the individual above all else.
